My father was a career Air Force enlisted man and I was raised all over the world, but both sides of my family are from Montana. My family has been in Montana since the 1860’s and I share a proud heritage with that history.
My family has owned property in Eureka since 1981; we bought the property through Howard and Verdie Smith just prior to them opening Cut Diamond Realty. Family is important and Howard was my mother’s cousin.
As a young man. I attended Community Colleges in Tacoma, Washington and Kalispell, Montana. I also attended Washington State University with plans to become a teacher. During that time I started working with Howard Smith at Cut Diamond Realty as a Realtor Salesman. Plans changed and I went on to work in construction, logging, USFS. In 1994, I attended the Montana Highway Patrol Academy and served until 2011, when a series of surgeries resulted in my forced retirement. I have owned and operated a commercial tree cutting business and still do small construction jobs, mostly for myself and family.
In 2011, my wife and three children, moved back to Eureka and built a house in the woods. Following my return to the Tobacco Valley, Larry Wilke was gracious enough to allow me to return to Cut Diamond Realty as a Realtor Salesman. I sit at the same desk I had over 20 years earlier, although the building has been rebuilt, it is in the same location and I am very familiar with the business.
I have always enjoyed helping people and whether in Real Estate or many of my other occupations, service is a major part of my character. I am here to assist wherever I can.
